-Moodstocks to introduce high-tech product for smartphone users.

CORPORATE IT UPDATE-(C)1995-2011 M2 COMMUNICATIONS

15 July 2011 - French IT start-up Moodstocks has developed a high-technology product that facilitates research on the web with its new interface for image recognition.

Created in 2008, Moodstocks spent two and a half years in the incubator Centrale Paris to develop its technology platform that can scan an object or an image from a smartphone and do a search on the Internet for materials related to it.

To finance the research and development stage of its product, Moodstocks has raised EUR500,000 (USD707,000) from several "business angels". To commercialise it, the group seeks an additional funding of EUR3m.

Few large local companies have experimented with this technology to provide remote access to their catalog and order online. More than 200 developers are currently testing it.
